GOD’S WORD FOR DECEMBER 23 ~ ~ PROPHESIES OF JESUS THE MESSIAH ~ ~ The Righteous One ~ ~ Prophesied in Jeremiah 23:5-6 ~ ~ “Behold (listen closely), the days are coming,” says the Lord, When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; And He will reign as King and act wisely And will do [those things that accomplish] justice and righteousness in the land.
In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called;
‘The Lord Our Righteousness.”
Fulfilled in 2Corinthians 5:21 ~ ~ “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious,
That the Lord God might dwell there. “
