ISAIAH, CHAPTER 30, VS 23-28

SCRIPTURE: CHAPTER 30, VS 23

23” Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.”

APPLICATION: CHAPTER 30, VS 23

  1. 23– When we give Him our foremost attention, even without our knowledge, He will use us to bring others to His Kingdom and our innermost hearts will prosper immensely.

SCRIPTURE: CHAPTER 30, VS 24

“The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.”

APPLICATION: CHAPTER 30, VS 24

v. 24– Others will benefit from our faith, which has been cleaned by our trials. The Lord makes our relationship with Him more strong and pure with each trial in life, and others can benefit from our more purified faith. (winnowed •..)”

SCRIPTURE: CHAPTER 30, VS 25

25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.”

APPLICATION: CHAPTER 30, VS 25

. 25– The Outpouring of the Spirit–The living water of Christ is represented by the streams and rivers—When His people cling to Him in the Spirit, and He “slaughters” satan and his demons and their towers shall fall!!! They are falling fast now!!!

SCRIPTURE: CHAPTER 30, VS 26

“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.”

APPLICATION: CHAPTER 30, VS 26

. 26– His glory is so great, nothing can compare to it, as He brings all His people together and joins the wounds of the divided church!

SCRIPTURE: CHAPTER 30, VS 27-28

“Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.”

APPLICATION: CHAPTER 30, VS 27-28

. 27–28– This refers to the time of the vanity referred to in Daniel 8:25, when the “anti-Christ” will love only himself, etc. –when people will love themselves and this world more than God,(they will love vanity, or vain and prideful things instead of God),  and God’s people will be the minority and will be afraid to speak up.    Although I received this in the 1980’s, I am retyping it in the year 2017 and I’d like to add here that in that short time between the two typings of this, much has happened in the world, as God-haters are in control, many times.    The “bridle” of deception is very great!  We, as the true believers of Jesus Christ are the minority, and many denominational believers are afraid, as financial and societal persecutions are in full swing. I am sure it will get worse, but we MUST stand strong, whether this is the true beginning of the End Times for the world, or a black time for testing for believers, I believe the Lord is putting His people to the test, and instead of doing what many are, which is just sitting back, shaking their heads, and waiting for His Second Coming, we must be in battle, standing for Him and with Him against the tyranny of the God-haters as they shake their fist at Him.
